A group of young enthusiastic gamers got together to create their own esports organization called Different Level Gaming. But no matter how big or small, every team has a single goal - always try to bring your level up. Certainly, one of the ways to achieve this is by having a professional logo that well represents your organization. The final design had to feel unique but also be flexible enough, so that it could be reused by multiple gaming teams. The logo was going to be used on their website, podcast, social media accounts and product merchandising.
The main shape of the logo consists of the DLG letters, presented as a 3D cube. This could be viewed as a reference to 3D gaming. The logomark has an important element on the top - a small heart, which in most games is a common symbol for health or a new life. This made the design look more interesting, but also helps to convey the idea for a "new level". Another great advantage is that, since the heart is a separate element, it can be given a different color for the various gaming teams.
